Gave website another facelift to match The Season sites. The release of Sinful Surrender is 3 (three) days away. I'm excited and nervous, especially since I received my first review from RT Book Reviews. Kathe Robin gave it 4 stars and used such terms as "fine voice", "natural wit", "enchanting read", and "fresh and charming debut". If you'd like to win a copy, visit me on The Season Blog, where I'm giving 4 (four) copies away as well as other wonderful prizes.

Just received word from my editor on the new title of my book. Instead of A Lady's Compromise, my first book will be titled
Sinful Surrender.

Gave my ever changing website an overhaul, aka a facelift.

The Gauntlet placed first in Toronto's
Original Golden Opportunity Contest and received a
request for the full. Alas, this book has already been sold but it was
flattering and heartening to receive the request.

I'm blogging about THE CALL over at
RRT(Romance Round Table).
Drop by and say hi!

The first iteration of this website is completed and I can breathe a
huge sigh of relief. Now I know why website designers charge so much.
Creating a website is very time-consuming. My gratitude
to www.iStock.com
for all the artwork and photos.

The notice of the sale of
A Lady's
Compromise appears in Publisher's Marketplace. Since it's now truly
official, I figure Hilary can't say it's a mistake and take back the offer.

This was the most exciting day of my writing career
so far. It's the day I got THE CALL from Hilary Sares
at
Kensington Publishing. She called to tell me she'd read my first novel,
A Lady's Compromise(then named A Midseason Night's Folly), and wanted
to buy it. After I got over my absolute shock, I called my sister and
screeched and screamed so much the poor woman thought someone had done
me bodily harm. There are few things in life that will ever top the
first sale!
